Bim Ayandele, Principal
Bim Ayandele is a strategic communications advisor with nearly 20 years of experience helping organizations navigate complex issues, understand the audiences they need to reach, and communicate with clarity and credibility.
He is Principal of Millennium Strategy, a Los Angeles-based consultancy serving corporations, nonprofits, philanthropic organizations, advocacy groups, and public leaders. His work spans corporate reputation and issues management, sustainability and transparency reporting, philanthropy, social impact, public affairs and narrative strategy.
Over the past decade, Bim has led long-term reporting and stakeholder communications engagements for major energy companies. His work has taken him across North and South America and Africa, where he has interviewed and worked with senior executives, government officials, employees, nonprofit leaders and local communities. In addition to leading research, writing and production, he has produced much of the original photography used in the reports he oversees. Bim has also advised philanthropic and advocacy organizations on communications strategy and narrative change.
Before founding Millennium Strategy, Bim spent nearly a decade at Winner & Associates, a strategic communications and crisis-management firm, where he advanced from Associate to Vice President and advised major corporations on reputation, crisis, and complex public issues.
His career has also included work at the intersection of politics, culture and public engagement. During the 2008 presidential campaign, Bim co-founded Generation Obama and 008 The Movement, national organizations that helped mobilize young professionals, artists and cultural networks around Barack Obama’s candidacy. Their work included helping amplify Shepard Fairey’s iconic HOPE poster and the Manifest Hope exhibitions. In 2009, Bim served in the White House Office of Public Engagement during the first year of the Obama Administration.
Bim began his career in entertainment, with roles at Creative Artists Agency, The Recording Academy and Handprint Entertainment. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Brown University.
