Bim Ayandele, Principal
Hi. Bim here. I run Millennium Strategy, a Los Angeles-based strategic communications consultancy. Our clients come to us when they are facing tough communications issues related to their business operations, organizational challenges, advocacy for political or social change, ESG, CSR, sustainability, and transparency needs, and a host of other important and sensitive areas. Sometimes my work for clients involves photography, which I love.
I love digging in to deeply understand our clients and helping them achieve their objectives through smart, strategic communications and collaborations with best-in-class partners. Using a flexible, collaborative approach, we apply proven and emergent communication methodologies to move people and shift perceptions, keeping ethical standards and values – ours and the clients’ – at the forefront.
I cut my teeth working for nearly a decade at crisis management firm Winner & Associates (founded by the renowned crisis management veteran and mentor Chuck Winner), where I developed a deep understanding of the power of strategic communications and the mechanisms that build awareness, manage issues, and shift public opinion.
I was part of the team that implemented some of the pioneering guerrilla marketing techniques instrumental in deciding the 2008 United States presidential campaign – our team’s work resulted in the "Hope" poster, which helped generate national attention and contributed to the national movement built around Barack Obama’s candidacy. In 2009, I was asked to serve at the White House, where I had the opportunity to contribute to the launch of President Obama’s Office of Public Engagement.
Earlier in my career, I worked at several major entertainment companies, including Creative Artists Agency (CAA), The Recording Academy (the GRAMMYs), Handprint Entertainment, and Interscope Records, which helped me understand many of the contours of pop culture and the industry dynamics.
I graduated from Brown University and live in Los Angeles with my wife, two sons, and a puppy.
